Wow what a great day on Friday! The Ancient Civilizations Day was a huge success and everyone did a fabulous job! Great outfits! As soon as I get some pictures I will post them to the blog for all to see.
I can’t believe that we are already ending the first quarter – time flies when you are having fun.

10/21 – Red Hat Day
10/22 – Red Socks Day (Outdoor Ed. Meeting for parents only at 7:00 pm)
10/23 – Red Shirt Day
10/24 – All Red Day (6th graders must bring costume to school for our Anc. Civ. Day Celebration) We will have some morning activities, then have our pizza lunch – before changing into our costumes. Make sure to learn your character card and your vocabulary card. Our performance is from 12:00 – 2:30 in the gym.

Please watch your child’s protist movie and write a sentence for Monday. Include in your sentence your thoughts, feelings or reactions to the movie. Feel free to ask them any questions about Protists.
The kids will turn in your sentence for homework. (Due Monday)
Don’t forget this week we have ITBS Testing. Make sure your child gets a good night rest, healthy breakfast & snack and has a silent reading book. We will be testing all week in the mornings, so please be to school on time and plan Dr. Appointments accordingly. Thanks.
