Coat and Blanket DRIVE!!

Please help us support the local homeless community this season by bringing in your used coats and blankets! We will also accept gently used sweatshirts and other clothes. Adult sizes are preferred, but we will gladly accept children’s clothing.  Bring them to either teacher and they will be distributed at the Salem/Salvation Army Thanksgiving Dinner. Thank you so much for helping us help the less fortunate. 🙂

Weekly Announcements: 10/19-10/22

This week we will conclude our first quarter of sixth grade. The  Reading Counts book/quiz deadline is  Thursday. No books or quizzes for the first quarter will be counted after that day.

We will have our first M & M Marketplace this Thursday afternoon!!  Students have been earning their M & M bucks this quarter and will have the opportunity to buy and sell things with this “money” on Thursday. Students should bring in 5 items that they’d like to sell to their classmates (items can be new, used, home-made, etc.)

Also…don’t forget that there is no school on Friday! Teachers will have meetings and will be finalizing grades for the quarter.  Second quarter begins on Monday! 🙂
